Down the River Bend

Take a dip, and swim a bit,
Down the river bend,
Where tales and old time stories,
Are sure to never end

Take a stroll, puff a roll,
Up paddles creek,
Where all the birds,
Chirp, chirp, chirp
Screech, screech, screech

Take your time, run a line,
At old man’s log… the place
Where tales are fine,
And rhythms for dimes,
As the old man comes to holler

Take a rest, crack you neck,
Come enjoy the view,
For it is quite the sight to see
And only meant for few.
